"The Constitution Day" / "Samvidhan Diwas" was solemnly celebrated at G. H. G. Khalsa College of Pharmacy Gurusar Sadhar on 26th November 2016. The day commemorates the adoption of the Constitution of India by the Constituent Assembly on 26th November, 1949. To mark the day, a lecture was delivered by Dr Poonam. Students of D. Pharmacy, B. Pharmacy and M. Pharmacy courses attended the lecture. Dr. Poonam addressed students and made them familiar with the importance of the constitution day. She also explained how the Constitution of India is the supreme law of the nation and how it lays down the framework defining fundamental political principles, powers and duties of Government institutions and sets out Fundamental Rights and the duties of the citizens.
At the end of celebration, students and faculty members took a pledge not to involve in violence under any circumstances and have a firm belief on the constitution of the country.
