Seminar was organized on 'Educated Youth and Employment in India' by Department of Economics at GHG Khalsa College, Gurusar Sadhar (Ludhiana). Principal, Dr. Harpreet Singh welcomed the resource person, Dr. Kamal Vatta, Professor and Head of the Department of Economics and Sociology at PAU, Ludhiana. In his address, Prof. Kamal motivated the students for internships as it helps in acquiring the jobs in today’s world. He suggested that along with the domain expertise, communication skills, work ethics, learning ability, integrity is also required. He further advised that the children should start planning for better job opportunities in future. He also explained about LFPR - Labor Force Participation Rate in India. He threw light on GDP and growth of India with the help of numbers too. The students interacted with them enthusiastically. Prof. Jaswant Singh Goraya gave a vote of thanks. The stage was conducted by  Prof. Anchal Jamdagni. Prof. S.K. Gupta, Dr. Vineet Dhir, Prof. Vishavpreet Kaur, Prof. Kanwaljit Kaur, Prof. Karamjit kaur, Prof. Harpal Kaur, Prof. Kamalpreet Kaur also graced the occasion.
